Parking Information
Parking is available on several public streets in the downtown area of
St. Clairsville. Many parking spots are metered. The Public Defender
parking lot is available behind the courthouse on Newell Avenue with
limited spaces. Parking behind the St. Clairsville library is also
available on South Market Street.
Please note: the parking lot directly behind the Courthouse is
not public parking. Signs are posted for employees only.
Courthouse Entry
To enter the Courthouse, please go to the front of the building and
use the entrance located under the stairs for access to the first
floor. No other doors are open. All visitors must enter through this
entrance and pass through security, including a metal detector.
The Court of Common Pleas, Probate and Juvenile Division, is located
on the second floor of the Courthouse in Room 204. Please enter the
court offices through the door across from the elevator. If you are
here for a court appearance, please have a seat in the hall and the
bailiff will call your name for your hearing.
